Abstract

The study aimed to identify metabolic problems during training sessions of Sudanese Premier League football clubs. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach and relied on a random sample of 10 fitness trainers. A questionnaire was used as the primary tool for data collection. The key findings of the study were as follows: Glycogen depletion leads to muscle fatigue, Lactic acid buildup causes physical exhaustion, neuromuscular imbalance was observed. Loss of salts through sweating was identified as a contributing factor to performance decline. The main recommendations of the study included, Ensuring proper recovery protocols, providing balanced and adequate nutrition, maintaining adequate hydration through sufficient fluid Keywords: Metabolism; Training; Sudanese Premier League Football Clubs
