Abstract

The study aimed to prepare a training program for the driving force of the arms and to identify the effect of the training program for positive arm pull and to identify the effect of the training program for negative arm pull downwards and to compare the effect of the two training methods. To verify the research objectives, the researcher assumed that there were significant differences between the pre-test and post-test of the training program. The researcher used the experimental method, which is based on the two-group design and the pre-test and post-test. The research population was identified as the young players who entered educational and training courses in the swimming pool of the water city in (Najaf Al-Ashraf), and their number was (15) swimmers. Their parents were notified, and consent was obtained from the parents of (10) of the sample of players. They were divided in the simple random method into two groups. The first group uses the first training method, letter (s), and the second group uses the second training method (pull downwards), where the number of each group is (5) swimmers. The report also included a presentation, analysis, and discussion of the test results and research variables. Among the most important conclusions and recommendations were: the two training methods adopted in the curriculum contributed to improving the swimmers' performance and achievement; the use of both training methods in training the swimmers' arm movements, with particular attention given to the second group's method (the pull-down method) due to its effectiveness in improving kinematic variables and performance.
