The purpose of this study was to explore the attitudes of physical education supervisors toward the
newly developed physical education textbook for the tenth grade. This was done by evaluating the main
components of the textbook which included objectives, content, educational activities, assessment methods, and
aesthetic and visual design. The study sample consisted of 62 supervisors who responded to a questionnaire
developed by the researchers. The results indicated that supervisors’ attitudes were positive and at a high level
across all subscales. The content subscale ranked first, followed by graphic and artistic design subscale, while
the subscales of objectives, educational activities, and assessment methods recorded closely similar mean
scores, all within the high level. The results also indicated no statistically significant differences in supervisors’
attitudes attributed to age, experience, or academic qualification. However, statistically significant differences
appeared in the subscale of educational activities, in favor of male supervisors. The study recommended
continuing the development of the physical education textbook based on scientific bases, designing diverse
educational activities, and providing the necessary facilities and resources in alignment with the developed
textbook and curriculum.
