The The role of school sports and physical activities in improving the mental abilities of the child

The research aims to learn about the role of physical activities in improving the mental abilities of the child in school. This study was measured by the researcher through Stanford Benet tests "Photo 5 ". In his study, the researcher relied on the experimental research by designing the single set through a pre and post-test since it is the suitable tool for this reserach . The study sample consisted of 40 children selected randomly. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the results of pre and post-tests. This mean, that the postest had a postive effects on improving mental abilities for those who engage with physical activities. In this case, children become more physically active, have great attention resources, faster cognitive processing speed and better tests performance.
