This study aims to investigate the role of semi-sport games in improving psychomotor abilities and shaping the personality of primary school children (aged 6–11) from teachers’ perspectives. The researcher adopted a descriptive approach due to its suitability for the nature of the study. A questionnaire consisting of 21 items distributed across three dimensions (sensory behavior, motor learning, and personality traits) was administered to a random sample of 18 primary school teachers in El Ancer district, Jijel Province. The findings revealed statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in favor of semi-sport games. Results showed that 77.8% of teachers confirmed their role in improving sensory abilities, 100% in enhancing motor learning, and 82.3% in developing children's personality traits. Chi-square (χ²) test results further supported the significance of these findings, validating both the partial and overall hypotheses of the study.
The study concluded that semi-sport games represent an effective educational tool that contributes to the development of psychomotor perception, motor learning, and personality building by enhancing self-confidence, social interaction, and decision-making abilities. The study recommends integrating these games systematically into physical education curricula while considering children's developmental characteristics.
