Abstract

Emotional stability is one of the key factors influencing an individual's psychological well-being, as it helps reduce stress, anxiety, and other psychological problems. Physical Education and Sports (PES) plays a complementary role in educational stages by promoting not only physical health but also psychological, social, and educational development for both male and female students. Given the variation in the results of the final Baccalaureate examination and the higher academic achievement of female students compared with males, the findings of this study revealed that: There were differences in the levels and scores of emotional stability between female students who participated in Physical Education and Sports classes and those who did not at the final secondary school level. Statistically significant differences were found in emotional response scores between participants and non-participants in Physical Education and Sports classes, in favor of the female students who participated in these classes.
