Abstract

The researcher must define the research problem accurately and formulate it clearly, as it is one of the most important steps in research and the basis for its success. If it is not clearly defined, the researcher cannot progress in his research. Formulating the research problem includes a description of the background of this problem and a logical explanation of its importance and the need for it, whether from a theoretical or practical perspective. In this regard, we decided to conduct this study, which focuses mainly on the rules and foundations of formulating the research problem in the sports field, addressing the various elements and steps of its preparation
