The reality of using educational technology in teaching the physical education and sports class from the point of view of secondary education teachers

A field study in some secondary schools in Setif

Abstract

This study aims to know the reality of using educational technology in teaching the physical education and sports class from the point of view of secondary education teachers in state of Sétif. The researchers used the descriptive analytical method for its suitability and the nature of the study, while the sample consisted of 30 professors who were chosen in a simple random way, and the researchers adopted the questionnaire and the interview as a tool to collect Data were collected and processed statistically using SPSS 25. The results of the study showed that the use of educational technology contributes to developing mathematical skills and improves the cognitive abilities of students, and in addition, it saves the effort and time spent by students in physical education and sports classes. However, it has no reality in the field, according to the opinion of professors, due to the lack of capabilities and the lack of technological means for teaching.
