The participants were randomly divided into two equivalent groups: a control group (n = 14) and an experimental group (n = 14). The experimental group followed a training program incorporating small-sided games, whereas the control group continued with the conventional training program without the inclusion of small-sided games. The intervention was conducted over eight weeks at a frequency of two training sessions per week. Coordination and agility were assessed before and after the training program using appropriate motor performance tests. The results a improvement in coordination and agility among the control group. In contrast, the experimental group showed a marked improvement in both motor abilities, indicating that training programs incorporating small-sided games are effective in enhancing coordination and agility in young football players.
