Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in individual activity levels (speed, long jump) in physical education and sports between the grading system proposed by the Ministry in 2005 and the proposed grading system using the Bruchon program for third-year secondary school students (18-19 years old). To achieve this, a survey study was conducted in high schools in the Ain Touta district. The study was conducted after a comprehensive census of the research population consisting of 457 female students divided into two groups: 19-year-olds (n=142) and 18-year-olds (n=315). The descriptive method with its survey approach was adopted due to its suitability for the nature of the subject. This involved conducting field-tests on the research population (calibration sample) using the battery of tests approved by the Ministry of National Education for the year 2005. The study found statistically significant differences between the speed and long jump tests, indicating that the Ministry of National Education's grading system is not suitable for evaluating students in this age group.
